Day32 (4/4/09)

Today is a Saturday. We were supposed to go to tourist attraction site, The Valley of Beautiful Ladies. However, the trip was cancelled so that we can have more time during the weekend to prepare for our theory test.

Decided to have one day of break and to go shopping instead of studying. We met our Chinese friends, Wen Qian and Wen Si at the IT shopping centre area (Guang Bu Tun) and we took bus to Han Kou.

Had Macdonalds for lunch and we shopped the entire afternoon till nightfall. I bought 1 jacket and 1 pair of shoes =)

Despite the wet and cold night, there were still many people at Bu Xing Jie.
The nightlife here looks abit like Hong Kong's.

Was feeling very hungry. So we bought some pizza toasts before having our main dinner.

After that, Wen Qian and Wen Si brought us to a steak restaurant to eat steak. The restaurant was located inside a shopping mall. The food there is really cheap!

Hmm..What should I eat ?

The food came quite fast. Can say that the restaurant is quite efficient.

My dinner! Fine dining =)

Some points to take note of. The restaurant seems to be quite high class. Each individual seat is not those type of normal chairs or whatsoever. Each seat there is a big armchair which makes the diner feel so comfortable. What's more is that, there are also pillows.

After eating, we don't feel like leaving the place. The seat was so comfortable that we fell into sleep.

We finally decided to leave at around 10 plus. Took a cab with Jeremy, Wen Qian and Wen Si back to WUST. The journey seemed so long even though it took around 1 hour plus. That's because I can't wait to reach the hostel so I can sleep.

We finally reached WUST at around 11.30P.M if I remembered correctly. Wanted to sleep at first until Yong Xin tell me to play CS =x. So I played CS until around 2A.M before sleeping. LOL

My observations today...You can actually bargain with the shop keepers here easily. For example, my friend wanted to buy a T-shirt that cost 70RMB. However, he easily bargained till the shop keeper agreed to sell it for a price of 50RMB only. Secondly, food in China is really cheap. 40RMB and you can have steak,soup PLUS red wine.
